what matters is how we are affecting one another by our behavior and what ideas we are espousing, at one time man owed his allegiance to his family, then as time expanded it went to the community, then the state, now the nation; however that is but a phantom now.
Our allegiance is to one another and the quality of our relationships based upon the standard of whether or not our behavior causes or causes not harm unto each other.
Membership count will not matter if the conduct of that forum is overwhelmingly negative and the beliefs of that forum which it upholds are contradictory with reality. By helping one another, creating a space where we can genuinely vent without fear, where the strong cannot attack the weak or the few do harm to the many.
“Rivers do not drink their own water; trees do not eat their own fruit; the sun does not shine on itself and flowers do not spread their fragrance for themselves. Living for others is a rule of nature. We are all born to help each other. No matter how difficult it is. Life is good when you are happy; but much better when others are happy because of you.”-user on youtube
