...I think I somewhat get it now, though I just find it odd you're equating protecting minors online to corporate performativity or whatever. I do agree Reddit is a two-faced libtard shithole but so-called free speech platforms like 4chan, kiwifarms or even here have rules against CSAM which was why r/teenfemboys got banned in the first place. Free speech shouldn't mean free crime.

The thing about reddit is that it cannot be narrowed down to a single place, despite the redditor stereotype which is funny, but still, you are the one navigating and selecting the communities themselves. If you, for example, entertain magick idealism stuff, obviously /r/atheism seems like a bunch of retards in contrast, and the other way around. Reddit it's just a platform where multiple communities establish their space for centralized discussion on any pertinent topic, so it makes sense that they reinforce the topic at hand on the enviroment using the system, which produce more quality content if you are receptive enough and just focus on what you're looking for.

Honestly, i guess the same can be said of the internet as a whole, i feel. I do admit that my favorites spots on reddit are all defunct communities tho. You know, "It served it's purpose, get what you learned and move on" kind of thing. For the record, i actually never used the platform, just lurked the site after the party was over.
