Might be northern climate vs equator climate adaptation.

When italians moved to America, they were considered loud snd obnoxious.

Japanese or Nordics are much more quiet.

So the colder, the more inside your culture os based on, the quieter you are.

In my neighborhood where everyone is Hispanic/mixed race, they have the bad habit of playing music at a very high volume which is annoying, in addition to always playing reggaeton/trap, the neighborhood where I live is never quiet.

I dont think it has much to do with agriculture. Italians practiced it was eons while Nordics are very new to it relatively speaking
