Discussion Why do people care about hate comments?

One girl told me to kill myself cause I called a scene kid mommy as a joke but I was literally laughing at them because it’s a Reddit comment.

I don’t think people realize that the ones typing these comments are usually miserable. Goatis made a good point when he said misery loves company.

I mention this cause a guy by the name of Minki deleted his old channel because the ‘hate’ became too much. As a former YouTuber I can understand but now I could care less..

His "good points" are usually things that we have being saying for ages. The only reason why this guy is popular is becuase his fanbase his full of edgy/impressionable teenagers.
