The problem with forums like these is that all of the social butterflies network in real life, slightly less socially adept live vicariously through Instagram, Twitter or YouTube... and all of the cool fringe people use Discord or something, so these forums congregate two kinds of people:
1. Genuine outcasts that cannot find their tribe even among other fringe cohorts.
2. Middling individuals who are able to network in real life but satiate their neurotic impulses within the boundaries of the aesthetic.

In the case of Fukura I think he is the former surrounded by the latter, and this sort of aesthetic would have been complementary a year ago or two. I remember him posting lengthy diatribes about purgative cleansing of the forum a while back and they had their place, but there is currently no supportive framework to cushion his spite now that all core users have left. This manifests in the current state of the forum which is a handful of non-NEET normies wracking their braincels to conjure the most vapid, cathartic manifestations possible accompanied by a few genuinely neurotic individuals screaming into the void.
