Why I admire ancient Greeks/hellenism

I've learned to admire the pre-Platonic Greeks and early Rome, and even the barbarian's to the highest value and respect. In my opinion, their way of life was a life where they fulfilled a higher purpose, not only for themselves but for their own civilization and family
the way they projected the human emotions and what makes life so great and so sad into mythology and gods, for example zeus(powerfull/impulsive) apollo(form into art, the dream state and individuality) and then lastly dionysus(the irrational/emotion/chaos/unity), the greeks were superficial out of profoundity, they didnt give into the modern "beyond the surface" or the metaphysical ideal most "high iq thinkers" are all about, the last thing about this bit, i also think that this illusion of the feelings and senses i feel is neccessary to a society and life, without it its easy to become a cynic or even worse, a nihilist

especially after expirimenting with pessimism over the last months, ive felt a deeper divine and purely profound connection to the way of life/ethos of the ancient greeks, i know of no higher civilization then them, also expanding on the first idea, the idea of a god to the senses gave more order to chaos and also gave the exact suffering modern men so demonize meaning, form and a justification
The ancient greeks understood that pain mixed with beauty is the essance of existence, before deep diving into greeks i believed that life was the will to live(purely a schopenhauerean belief) but theres a flaw in this, if life is so much to just live it, then why are the human species so evolved, why is there so much illusions and drive to just get out of the bed in the morning, is it perhaps the exact illusion, i dont think so, theres a higher drive i believe in but the greeks knew so well, and they mustve mastered that essance of life in their society

The Greeks also saw tragedy/suffering as a thing to not avoid, but to will through, like the tragedy of Prometheus stealing Zeus's fire. The Greeks learned to will their fate, or in modern words, love their fate(amor fati), instead of running away from it

Festivals and athletics also celebrated whats upmost important in the superficial world, which is the body, modern spirituality and religions rather see the body as inferior to the mind or the "divine", the greeks instead saw out the body AS the divine, expression, beauty/arete in mobile form, the gods i was referring to earlier and a moreso known example of the ancient greek/roman marble statues are all bodys of warriors, with muscles big enough to warren a sword or a shield but small enough to be mobile, agile and fast, tehy didnt just see the traditional sports(wrestling/gymnasium/the festival of olympics) as just simply sport, those were showcases and rituals to display the human greatness and what it can achieve, this was THE culture that told you to become the most aesthetic and beautiful version of your nature

Gods of greece didnt have traditional morality, infact they just had the raw expression of the forces/wills of life, like for example the god 'eros' which is the god for lust/sexual desire, then you get the god 'ares' which represents the aggresion of the soul and so on, the rest of the gods u will see represent some emotion of drive of the soul

I also admired the Greeks for their pure rejection of the afterworld and the guilt-tripping modern metaphysical ideas hold, no original sin like in the bible, no moralization or eternal punishment, they didn't see life as the preface to a greater existence(afterworld), life for them was in fact the great existence, and the constant strive for arete(excellence)

The Greeks strictly accepted their fate and fully played into it. If ur fate was harsh, despair was not the way; moreover, it was to overcome that feeling and play up to the challenges fate gave you and live it fully

I also look in awe at how they were able to turn the feelings and events of life into art, their idea that existence didnt need a moral meaning but a aesthetic meaning is beautiful, and maybe they broke the code with arts, for them art was a justification for life, i also find myself wanting to make art beyond myself, perhaps for generations this art would be viewed in awe aswell
The ancient Greeks turned life into something worth living and something worth striving for, for the simple fact that life itself should be beautiful, and it in fact is

Anyway, this took like half an hour or more to write, so rep it pls
I also have to mention my current thoughts are heavily inspired by self-research (ofc), Nietzsche's works, and some ancient Greek historians who wrote on Greek mythology

yeah well that too but i dont like categorize success with races, as much as the greeks succeeded so u can say about mansa musa's kingdom or ancient west african kingdoms
History likes to forget how much money Mansa Musa made on the slave industry

I had a long discussion with grok about greek being the premier white civilization. It was being an SJW about it.
I was not calling it a white ethno state. Just because I didnt mention egypt or other earlier civilization doesnt mean I thought they didnt do shit.
