[QUOTE="6ft4, post: 72538, member: 357"] If you're ND thus grew up ND, the amount of baggage you built up over your lifetime will be something you can't shed by staying in the country you were raised in All of the baggage from sneeding normies and from foids ghosting you because you display ND or because you lack social status as a result of your ND (even if they're physically attracted to you) cannot be overcome no matter how much you change or how much self work you do. The benefits of moving country as an adult are that you get a completely fresh slate, ideally at your peak looks level and if you are in a position where you mog, the clean slate means you aren't hanging onto historical rejections that you believed came from a looks deficit. If you mog in a new country, you can simply presume all rejections you receive going forward are due to being vibe/behavioural/sentience mismatched with the foid. If you move to a country where you don't speak the native language and have to learn it, you get the benefit of not knowing what people are saying initially even if there are normies there that sneed at you in their language you can remain oblivious to it. Picking up on normie sneeding when they think I can't hear them or clock what they're doing is something that triggers me hard in my home country There's also the benefit that communicating in a new language prevents the overhtinking that punishes NDs in conversation If your brain is focusing all of it's effort on just trying to get out the most basic statement to convey what you mean, it reduces the entire selection process over feeling like you need to choose the absolute optimal thing to say which is something I suffer from when speaking English. It's possible for people to be more romantic and low inhib in a second language because they haven't developed the same cringe response to certain words leaving their mouth the way they would in their native language Returning to the baggage aspect, when you meet people in your new country as adults, it means you don't get any kind of impression for the negative aspects of being an ND teenager in school in that country, so since adults are generally civil/polite, you get to believe that the people in the country you move to are better people who are more open to you / accepting of you thus removing the baggage you keep in the country you grew up in, even if you'd have suffered the same social problems as an ND had you grown up in the country you moved to. In a new country, it's easier to make peace with being a social failure. In your home country, you can seemingly do everything right and make all the effort you can, but if you're ND you can still be excluded. Being rejected by your own kind is much harder to swallow than being a loner in a country where you are by definition an outsider since you didn't grow up there and your parents aren't from there. In a new country, if foids reject me and I can't find any success with them, at least I can say, they'd rather pick a normie who's native to their country than pick an outsider like me, it feels perfectly logical and understandable. However in my home country, being rejected and looked over for LTNs & MTNs is more rage enducing because the guy they're choosing over me is the exact same culturally except the only difference is I mog them in looks and they mog me in NT. You can move to a country where your strength are actually advantages In certain countries, there's a gargantuan chunk of foids who practice race to the bottom mate selection In countries where the men are taller, higher IQ and higher sentience, women actually pick men with those traits, hence you're actually better off in a country where you're LESS rare in certain traits because your rarity serves no advantage in your home country and actually counts against you to a large portion of foids Outsider halo may work in your favour if you are goodlooking but have a rare pheno in the country you move to You also may get more of a pass for not having a strong social circle because once they're aware you've only been in the country a few months, it isn't a massive failo if you haven't built a strong social circle, whereas in your home country, you are assumed to have a defect if you didn't cling onto the same social circle you had in school/uni There's also the liberation of not fearing judgement as much in the country you move to because if something embarassing happens to you, after it happens it only exists in the people who are not related to you and probably won't know anyone you know. Even if something embarassing happens to you when drunk that gets caught on video, if the video only circulates among people in the country, it doesn't feel as reputation ruining as it happening in your own country because you feel more incognito in your new country There is something about the fear of shame in the country where your family lives that is so hard to shake, particularly if you grew up in a small shame ridden country where everyone knows each others business and are crabs in a bucket.
