But yeah my church is very female centric. I want to join an orthodox one instead

Many religions are that way now.

I don’t fully get it.

Mormons are supposed to go be a missionary before they reach like 24 and then they can enter exclusive temples.

Mormonism is giga male dominant. I dont know if legs open up for you once you can goto temple. Mormonism is a marriage focused religion though.
