Videogame Yakuza One Piece looks fun

I’m hoping the open world aspect is similar to AC Black Flag. The ship combat is a bit too goofy with rapid fire cannons and lasers, but over the top shit is to be expected in Yakuza games. I think it fills the void for Pirate based vidya that Skull and Bones couldn’t.
We also get Majimas fighting style fully fleshed out in this one + characters are fully customizable instead of preset outfits which is cool.

It's good to see that there are still games being made with the awesome brawler combat Yakuza was known for. As much as the JRPG combat works it still doesn't top stringing combos and tiger dropping. It's gloriously unhinged that RGG Studios decided to round out Majima's character arc by making him an amnesiac pirate.

Cue Ichiban airdropping into Mumbai for LAD 9. Who knows where they are taking this man.
