I believe that any state which is not currently implementing a eugenics program is putting themselves at a competitive and geopolitical disadvantage. There is every benefit to relentlessly improving the genetic stock of one’s citizens; states which will carry out a program to considerable success would be well-positioned towards the latter half of the 21st century and the decades past it.

Women can be dysgenic at times tbh. But that aside, I’m talking about eugenics on a larger scale. I’m pro-eugenics btw, it’s a net beneficial for societies to run it. It used to be popular and widely-discussed in the past, and it’s a shame that it has fallen out of the conversation due to its negative association with the Nazis.

Depends on how it is implemented honestly. Eugenics can be classified as either positive or negative; and a society which practices the mass culling of its undesirables would be rather inhumane.

There's no point because it takes ages to make a meaningful dent in human genetics through selective breeding; e/acc & transhumanism is more efficient at this stage. Why optimize humans if you can get machines to do all of the work for you? The godliest Aryan hyperchad dies instantly against a bullet to the head or chest shot by the scrawniest, most 'dysgenic' chud. Furthermore there is the problem of genes not having linear effects on health at all and the definition of 'good' genes' being in flux constantly.

A 'well-oiled' society would be comprised of low-consumption, agreeable, almost sexless, non-competitive, short, docile and obedient people; this is almost the opposite of what 'eugenicists' typically advocate for, which are needlessly wasteful ubermensch.

How would you implement eugenics, and for what purpose? What traits would you select for? My opinion is that health is a nebulous conquest given most 21st century ailments are man-made. Maybe some sort of protein to break down microplastics?
