I used to be good. Now not so much. What has happened to me?
I should buy a new 'puter. A new mouse and pad too.

Which layout option do you want to use?
Which theme color do you want to use? Select from here.
Did you take SSRIs? Become a coomer? Started using a different controller? Are you more depressed?I used to be good. Now not so much. What has happened to me?

FPS? Or strategy games? I can help you regain your skills in the former cuz its easy but the second is just an experience/iq issue.I used to be good. Now not so much. What has happened to me?

It's not for grieving outsidersfor both
I was a coomer when I was good at games. I am severely more depressed though only because I have grown aware of my circumstances.Did you take SSRIs? Become a coomer? Started using a different controller? Are you more depressed?
FPS games. I have a feeling that mechanics in shooters are still somewhat contingent on IQ, even if the quake boomers say otherwise. At this point I think I'm too conscious of the clerical aspects of FPS mechanics and so incapable of achieving a "flow" state.FPS? Or strategy games? Reaction time and physical alertness most important partI was a coomer when I was good at games. I am severely more depressed though only because I have grown aware of my circumstances.

Nope, no well-rated game features mechanics that are impossible to master as muscle memory and hone. And especially FPS, they all have the same core principles.I think I'm too conscious of the clerical aspects of FPS mechanics and so incapable of achieving a "flow" state.
I agree. I had ~170vrt a few years ago. No clue what it'd be now.Reaction time and physical alertness most important part
Depends on the game. Mouse control is also dependent on gear, and aim trainers don't translate well to FPS games which are movement-oriented. Games like CS or Valorant are different. After that you really only have to give effort by practicing consistently, mouse control is easy to refine.
It's not about finding "top" equipment, it's about finding equipment which is compatible with your own tastes. I think that at a lower level your playstyle can be determined through entry-level handicaps like a low refresh rate. In quake-tiered games that'd mean your playstyle would become movement-oriented since you aren't leveling the surplus frames (assuming hardware which is "good enough") with server tickrate or your natural vrt, so you focus less on crosshair placement. Past that point it becomes a problem of dexterity, rote learning, pad and mouse, etc., all of which aren't easy to fix if you're handicapped into hyperfocusing on clerical aiming shit.BUT you must also realize gaming equipment determines your ability handicap and so a bad setup/not being able to afford top equipment means you’ll never be the best, or if playing in highly popular franchises with active fanbases, not even decent.
So i think you gonna need a different cope if you want to be good at VidyaI was a coomer when I was good at games. I am severely more depressed though only because I have grown aware of my circumstances.
single player has been diluted to last 100h instead of 4hI think is due to normies and online multiplayer infecting games in many games they have sacrificed single player content and made you feel subhuman if you can't compete online, fucking normies ruining everything as usual.
100h is nothing to spend on a videogame.single player has been diluted to last 100h instead of 4h
I'm too retarded to compete in multiplayer. I think I could sit there and breathe air and spend my whole life like that, maybe things will change when my brain fully develop at 25.the best comunnities in multiplayer tend to be in nieche games like RTS that filter hyper neuroticism and even then they're gatekept and mostly based on mutual trust
in short most people aren't worth competing against not because you'll never catch up but because you'll become like them
yea it depends100h is nothing to spend on a videogame.
your strategic thinking will probably improve but your execution and quick decision making is more motoric and instinctual+how much you can hyper focus on the gameI'm too retarded to compete in multiplayer. Yes. Also reaction speed goes down with age.your strategic thinking will probably improve but your execution and quick decision making is more motoric and instinctual+how much you can hyper focus on the game
I think people get slower and less flexible when it comes to learning games as they grow up
you can still learn and be goodbut the time requirement might not be worth it
it depends on the lifestyle a lot
and biggest factor is if you really enjoy playing the game
