No, not really. Not consciously, at least. It just is. But why would be conscious of it all? The universe itself has to have a component that enables this. It really started bothering me lately, the question of why am I me? Why am I not you? What mechanism makes distinct consciousness encapsulate in a physical brain? Obviously, I am just a brain, but what decides which brain am I? It just all seems arbitrary and with no real purpose. I don't need to be consciouses for my body to work, it could just respond like it is.
