The war in Ukraine is very abnormal compared to other wars, because the frontline infantry like these (on both sides) are mostly 35-45 year olds who definitely aren't physically fit enough to do that kind of job. In other wars the soldiers would be young men in their 20s who would actually get long enough training, but most of these Russian/Ukrainian soldiers won't get that. I think it's fair to say that this war is just as brutal for soldiers as WW1 and WW2

What do you mean they aren't advancing? Russia is really close to taking 3 important frontline cities (Pokrovsk, Kupyansk, Siversk). And yeah I know the situation is really bad for Ukraine, their manpower problem keeps getting worse and worse, but their government won't do anything to fix it. Tbh I was hoping for Ukraine to win but I think Russia winning is the most likely outcome at this point
