Why is it almost always exclusively women who do these things to appear attractive I almost never see men wearing revealing clothing or wearing makeup or dying their hair or getting piercings that's not to say that there aren't men that don't do these things but most men just simply do not.

Men don't crave as much social validation as women do since women are weaker and evolutionarily speaking, what people thought of them really mattered for their survival.

Although admittedly I personally like to apply a little make-up(somewhat normal in my country) and spend a good amount of time choosing my clothes, so there's that.

For the longest time you needed to be in the nobility to fuck around with that stuff. You need to be the pope or be in theatre. That kinda stuff. It was more prevalent in some ancient civilizations. Normies follow their culture very well and don't rock the boat. India and other countries has a crude eyeliner that men wear for religious or traditional reasons called kudjal.
