He's absolutely right. Meaning and purpose are desires that can only be fulfilled through the act of Becoming.
Contrast that with the property of Being, where you simply just simply are, or to a more elevated degree as is found in at least some humans, aware of Being simply here and now, or what Heidegger encapsulated in his conception of Dasein. And taking it to it's extreme, as Heidegger did in his later years, to approach Being or Dasein with Grace.
Watching the video made me remember... I too have been focused too much on Becoming.
