I had this same thought when I was younger. Probably about middle school. My mom would constantly complain about her job, and I always dreamed of being financially free. Older people ARE miserable. They have to give 1/3 of their life away to a soul-sucking job. Me being NEET and an abused dog is one of the reason's I'm patient

this is what it feels like. your body slowly withers away after 60 years of labor, barely having time to enjoy the things you like. you'll get lucky if you retire, and even if you do, you get about 10 years of retirement before you croak

Well I can't relate cos my mum was always unemployed and on welfare when I was born and growing up

She was a traditional house wife just cooked and cleaned and went shopping groceries

They might shout and argue but that shows that they care , I know it sounds absurd.
