Back then when you went to college and graduated, you’d have a more solid return in investment in the world, but nowadays that place is just for richfags to show off their status and mog each other or people who just don’t know what to do and not want to “fall behind in life”. Not to mention the job market for even these “useful degrees” wants eunuchs with years of experience for an entry level position, which is so unbelievable. Trade school? Sure, but I heard it will really fuck you up both physically and mentally due to the labor so not everyone can do that.

Organic chemistry and all sorts of other things needs to be done typically in lab setting and that can run you up a lot of money, I get what you are saying. Most college courses are just teaching you some back job vocab and how to collect stamps.

The "education" system as we know it beats blind obedience and servitude into people. Ideally, education should provide the skills, knowledge, critical thinking, and confidence we need to thrive. Instead, it does the total opposite. The system is rigged so that unless you put in a serious effort to educate yourself, you'll be nothing without going through the grinder which is mainstream "education".

Its crazy to think that as recently as the 1970s, college was seen as a place only the rich attended. The norm was go straight to work after high school to likely some miserly and dead-end factory job. As people grew unsatisfied with that life, they turned to college as an escape, only for it to be rigged into a fleecing business as you said. Even with the higher salaries and job positions, it still ended up just another grinder.
