An immediate and temporary answer, would be to ask every legal adult for 20$, doing so can purchase MRE's and water, that being said, it would also be important to consider the energy of a people as a whole, it is said that when you focus on two things, you give only half your effort; hence, the way we can handle this problem is to first have a national food drive whereby all citizens donate all foods for the homeless, that and to ask business in participating by donating and or buying at a fair price their goods, say canned goods that are easy to produce.

Essentially, cheap canned goods, asking of donations nation wide, provide a cheap source of immediate sustenance, asking for financial donation of 20$ from citizens.

This not being a solution, for the time stimulates the matter until a proper solution can be created.

Preparing should be done on the individual and community level... governments and large non-profits are too corrupt, and the resources will be misdirected or plundered. The high-trust civilization we once enjoyed in the West is no longer here for us.

Sure, I wouldn't disagree to it, provided the people organize themselves into a effective and coherent unit whilst doing so, by all means.

I dont know if is possible to end poverty, I wonder even if is a goal one should set in his life.

Maybe an idea is to listen to world economic forum, so we achieve a reality where some people have property rights and they can commerce and do business and achieve their goals. And some other people dont have property rights and they stay at the bottom.

So it can be a way where everyone is happy, for example all communists who think property is a cope, can achieve their dream and own no property and they can be taken care of, by elites. Elites instead who believe in property and human rights can also be happy, so they will go around achieve their dreams too. A system where everyone has what he wants is possible, elites at world economic forum are doing it.

Yea that's what bugs me the most with crisper and the four pest campaign was very funny to look at in history but also sad because so many people starved.
