I like D&D but ashamedly i never played it, i simply read their theory. Seems very based also I use it instead of quoting communist authors or nietzsche or taxidriver movie. I think D&D is gigabased

I play TTRPGS and while I won't say 5e is bad, there are better Tabletops over 5e. Would recommend ACKS, DC20, Worlds without Number for fantasy style TTRPGS. Though admit 5e is the easiest to get a group to join in and find 3rd party for.
