Do you like to watch war movies? They're one of my favorite types of movies and I've been trying to watch more of them recently. Last night I watched American Sniper but thought it was kind of meh

Yeah I've watched the trailer for Warfare and it seems like a good movie. This year I've been watching a lot of movies about the Iraq War (The Hurt Locker, American Sniper, Sandcastle) so I should probably watch Warfare too

Doesn't that movie have some boring romance plot in it? A few weeks ago I watched Unbroken which is another Pacific War movie like that

I found the romance acceptable. I liked it because i was anti american edgy teen at the time. I just thought it was hilarious that that all the americans died and ships sank rated 10/10 for comedy but im nolonger that edgy. not sure id like it as much anymore

I think their are more, it seems like Netflix is pumping a lot.

Black hawk down is good.

I tend to get annoyed by a lot of war movies to be honest.

A good dark movie about war is come and see, it's not from a soldiers prospective so it probably doesn't fall into these categories.

I really enjoy WW1 and WW2 documentaries.

Platoon is good too.

I do enjoy war movies, they are great but when they are just shilling the US army it really sands my ass.

Enemy at the Gates is a good one. I think that was the first war movie about the Eastern Front that I watched. A lot of people have pointed out that it's not very historically accurate (and they're right about that) but I still think it's good

Well it's media, I don't think it's meant to be some historical piece more like, oh here are the soviets here is Stalingrad here are two snipers that's cool eh? It does it's job.

The American sniper move was pretty trit for me and its kinda telling the real guy it's based on gets popped by a mentally ill man at a gun range even knowing he was unhinged. Bad situational awareness, lol.

if you havent seen The Pacific id HIGHLY reccomend it, it was made by the same people as band of brothers and tbh i liked it more and i really really liked band of brothers

Yeah, I like watching war movies. Nowadays, I barely have the energy to watch anything since my brain’s pretty much fried from doing drugs, it’s kinda hard to concentrate on movies and shows. But, I’ve seen two documentaries about the U.S. vs Taliban wars as of late, which were pretty interesting.
