AI hasn't rendered any industries 'useless' that weren't already one foot out the door. Like translating; any industry that's fine with producing "good-enough" quality will always be trying to slash contract labor in regards to outputs. It defines all labor as some kind of output created from a request. Which AI can do. In more technical fields, you're paying someone for their capacity to think. It's never going to take over any of the mainstream jobs in any meaningful way. If you're going to doompost about AI, I feel like there's so much more you could say besides this?

Copez. I said the degrees will be useless for those studying for them cuz AI is gonna take ‘err jawbs. Ppl will work dead end jobs that they don’t even study for with their degrees and get layoff’d due to AI in the industry their working at, I never said any industries will be rendered useless you nigger.
