Hey everyone,

Today marks the second year the forum was founded, and it has been quite a turbulent year since the last anniversary update - I nearly ended up pulling a Weebhunter (if yk yk) on the forum a few months ago.

In retrospect, the forum back then had become fairly stagnant and the atmosphere less than ideal, though things have improved to a certain extent since then, and the changes that had been made seemed to have been better off in the long term.

Thank you to everyone who has enjoyed the site and contributed to it in whatever shape or form these past two years, both past and present, and I hope Elysian Fields remains your go-to place for rich discussion and playful bants.

Hell, I just joined but I will say keep the good work. There is not a lot of good forums left as everyone went to Reddit and Facebook though I think in a few years. I think the internet is going to go underground and invite only or hidden. Too many annoying karens and government types pushing as much censorship they can get away with.

Congratulation! You may have amassed few users, however, the forums are still active. This website will eventually obtain a strong userbase, just make to upload the right to freedom of express and keep it civil without sacrificing either. This will become a shelter for those who seek original opinion.

Funny enough, 4chan. I saw an ad when I was bored and ended up clicking it to check it out. Been looking for another forum for a while now. So I figured I give this place a shot since this doesn't look like a woke forum.

I can deal with woke people and like debating with them. Just as long as they're not in power so they can't purge everything and everyone that disagrees with them. A few sites I used to be on got woke and purge their regulars for calling out woke shit. I can follow rules but if they do our side can ignore them and we will weaponized it against you BS. I will call that shit out in a heartbeat.

For those that don't follow (because it doesn't make much sense), I believe the accusation is that I'm an undercover reporter working for CNN to try and get a big scoop out of this ~20 person forum on the corner of the internet. I think he first tried this joke something like a year ago, so I'm REALLY slow playing the story I'm supposedly writing at this point.

yeah hes got alot more name recognition than EF but his day to day online following is similar to EF.
