Music 90's/00's Alternative Music

I'm not sure if I'd consider myself someone who's actually been deep into any specific music-genre. Mostly because I think most music communities are just slightly insufferable. Having said that, I've been trying to expand the things I listen to lately, here's some of my favorite songs of late:

Cult Of Personality — Living Colour

Punching Goodbye Out Front — Kinski

$5 — Red Aunts

Eaten Alive — Hanis Elias

When You Were Young — The Killers

Also, this isn't from the 90's or 00's but it's the only song I've been listening to consistently. Reply with some recommendations! I really want to try and listening to more music.

Do you actually think this is alternative?
Alternative rock was a genre so bad that the world forgot. kinda like the spanish flue
none of this is alternative. Some might be played on an alternative radio station so the genre doesnt get played out but you linked no alternative

I will also post not alternative music because I too like the alternative is lava game

Maybe, for me anything 'alternative' is just anything non-mainstream. Whatever that means at least, I admit that my definition of alternative is simple. The point of this thread was just to try and expose myself to more music, alternative or not.

not so sure about alternative rock but I really love late 90s early 2000s emo. one of my favorites is Last Days Of April
