Discussion A lot has happened

Hey everyone, I think I'm going to come back and stay active on this site for good inshallah. A lot has happened lately but especially this year, like...a lot. I might as well say I've lived a thousand lives this year..or more accurately I've lived my life a thousand times this year. I guess I had a sort of ego death maybe? idrk if that's the correct term in this context but man has this year hit me like a bus, top 1 and bottom 1 years of my life simultaneously. I've learned to let go, like that one scene from fight club where tyler durdens in the car with edward norton and those 2 dudes, I am attached to this world ofc but I'm not attached attached, yk? like there's attachment and then there's attachment. I'm okay. I'm okay with my life, my life isn't exactly great right now but alhamdulilah, it's how life is, ups and downs.

Whatever happens happens and I still do desire things and people and have certain goals and ambitions, but I can't let that determine my mental and emotional state, well...emotionally things happen and they do change your state but I mean like you can't let them change YOU, if that makes any sense.
