I dont know if is true. But islamics here are very obnoxious. They teach their kids values contrary to the west. That's most due to islamic people in the middle east are very tribal and don't know how to function in for a lack of a better term proper society. First of all, 'Islamic'? Muslims, extremist or Arabic Muslims, what does it mean?

Now let get to the point, @Shinriken is correct. Arabs are tribal assholes they are basically Jews with less IQ. Same as Jews seeing no consequence of raping, stealing, lying or murdering you. It isn't part of Islam itself though. Tribalism itself is discouraged. Just like Jews who even though Jesus criticized for their bigotry because God itself didn't allowed it and they corrupted their teaching through Talmud to create different rules on how to deal with Gentiles. Same as Arabs is that they have Hadiths that are different rules on how non-Arabs should be treated. The main book (Torah and Quran) itself didn't had this teaching. That is a topic for another day.
As for being against Western values, it is not a defined absolute truth otherwise they won't be Western values instead they will be Universal values. For you it should only matter because you live in the West and have their values because you believe in them for some reason.
