I listened to lots of "enlightened" and "spiritual people". They act as if they know everything already.

I made a mental experiment and I asked myself what if I knew everything, would there be a point to be alive if you already know it all?

There would be no surprises, no discoveries, no mysteries, nothing to invent because youre "spiritual" and "fulfilled" and "self actualized" so you have transcended everything, you dont even get mad because you have read 12 rules for life and the art of war, and you think "being mad" is low vibration.

At that point, just soycide bro. Whats the point of living if youre "spiritual" and you dunning kruger life itself?

Seems like the normies really did it: https://www.scottcarney.com/blog/the-enlightenment-trap

A girl called Emily O'Connor said "I am bodhisattva" and she killed herself, she reached the pinnacle of dunning kruger, knows it all and dies.

Cool.

I have often struggled with the apparent contradiction of how these spiritual lessons can be so profoundly beneficial for millions of people while at the same time be so profoundly damaging for a few. Indeed, even in the time of the Buddha, some of his followers pursuit of spiritual perfection ended in suicide. In the vinaya, early Buddhist writings recorded in Pali, there is a story of when Buddha asked his monks to meditate on the inevitable decay of their own bodies. He instructed them to sit in graveyards and watch bodies decay (a version of this practice called chod still exists in modern Tibetan Buddhism). Once he gave the lesson, the Buddha headed off into the mountains to mediate, trusting his flock to understand his commands. But the monks who followed the lesson were so overcome with insight that they committed suicide.

I can't answer for her specifically but
we should probably ask those few who do things like that.

In a matter of weeks I collected six journals of people who took their own life or ended up in mental asylums. I spoke to directors of alternative universities who told me that every year they send students to mental health professionals after bad experiences on their meditation cushions.
I don't think they're normies.

I think the phrase you should be looking for is darwin award and not dunning-kruger

Boddisattva is just anyone in the lifetime before they are enlightened. Enlightenment happens all the time, its just the ultimate cope. Anyone enlightened is just going to subtley express positive cliches as blend into their community. its not deep.
