There's two meanings to the term "incel":

• Someone who does not want to be celibate but is anyway (Alana's definition)
• Someone who believes that inceldom exists and identifies themselves and others with it (someone who applies Alana's definition)

They are either ignorant, in denial or plain just don't believe in the concept. It's a word, an idea and then a subculture in the end.
