As much of a misanthrope I am, I'd say humanity is the only force of good we know, while nature/God is the evil who desires a dog-eat-dog world.
But then again, you may argue that the degree of ethics within nature is average rather than bad, and we are just trying to make ourselves more stable by being more ethical.

I think we live in the most darwinistic based times ironically warlike warrior societies like ancient greeks valued male beauty above all and considered brute looking males as barbaric as did the romans but our society worships them as do the most disgusting female form of worship in history so is kinda ironic the most illustrated society is the most merciless with the less spaces for subhumans and low value males or even good looking males that are loners while all previous ones have spaces for them and demonized the females
