Present events:

Alright my character's name is unknown to avoid doxxing, he's a human artificer and basically he randomly gets summoned into an arena to fight a bunch of monsters which turns out to be a training zone to prepare a group of adventurers to save the time frozen world. He becomes an artillerist at this point. Leaving, he enters the capital of a country and but hears that the companions he's traveling with are under attack for killing some ceremonial actors in a coliseum and so he rejoins them to escape Cerberus the hound of the king sent after them. On their escape the group assassinates the king in the chaos of the stadium and goes to a camp outside the city with a guardian of sorts. The group tries to destroy a necromancer who has corrupted the continent's nobility overall but they have a bounty on their heads and no leads. Upon learning that scouts from the resistance are missing, he goes out to the desert to find them and not knowing the desert is infested with danger, is ambushed by a bulette. The bulette with great luck gets killed with the help of a few members and he takes an eyeball from it and rescues the missing expedition member and returns to camp to find out the mission undertaken by his other party members has failed but everyone alive. The group sit around discussing leads to find the necromancer and disrupt his plans.

Throughout this campaign ___ has mainly been a relatively introverted guy with low alertness despite his paranoia but overall pretty much a solid fighter. The reality is though that he has hardly chosen to get into fights and prefers to minimize risk, staying at range. He seems to have low faith in anyone else but has a few friends, seemingly a neurotic and paranoid person but clumsy as well. He has high perceptiveness, and investigation skills but potentially lacks overall genius insights at the current moment due to his age and inexperience. He looks at the worst case scenario and evaluates from there. His friends seem to be able to strongarm him into doing things, so perhaps he lacks confidence in his perspective.

Ages 0-4

He was born about 27 years ago, and mostly stayed in urban environments. The family situation is that he basically was abandoned at birth by his father and just had in general a very neurotic upbringing that made no logical sense at first, his mother was very bipolar and tried to attack him several times.

Ages 5-9
He attended various longterm workshops and picks up masonry tools here. To survive as a laborer these were pretty useful tools. He develops some strength and builds some castles.

Ages 10-14
He learns the basic of the world through apprenticeships overall.

Ages 15-17

He is a very depressed machiavellian man but tries to remain out of trouble. He has few real ideals but understands the worth of the aryan ubermensch and builder and decided to pursue research in this area, exploring medicine and general investigative intellectual work to increase his efficiency.

One day in his youth whilst going out to buy stuff, he gets robbed at gunpoint, and decides to train in combat gear and combat magic. He is secretly paranoid of other people and finds it rare to find a bountiful person. He sometimes has visions of the attack and has burned in his memory the evils lurking in the world. He gets told by a vision of an angel one day telling him he was going to die if he didn't travel the world and has to leave all his friends. He doesn't tell them because he knows they will talk him out of it.

Ages 18-24

He becomes ultraparanoid in this age period and reclusive working on his creations and surviving off extreme testing of his limits trapping animals. He studies magic in an attempt to impress his friends later on but realizes it's probably lost and they've moved on. He continues exploring the world to cure his illness and goes to various cities becoming good fairly good at talking when needed.

Ages 25-27

After understanding enough of the world, he decides to pursue a mission to collect some magic items and keep himself alive from future threats he deems exist. On a mission to advance his life.

Idk what background to choose.

I can only write events based on my own life lol I am just not creative I value organization over this schizophrenic hyper creativity.

I suppose I need to hyper familiarize myself with the standard fare events that change a man's life and their views instead of coming up with super creativity as that doesn't seem to help that much. Imbuing objects or concepts with new properties is probably the basis of creativity. I suppose that isn't necessarily required in a backstory, it's mainly psychological development and socioeconomic.

Is this dark sun and are you human?
No, it's not dark sun, it's a custom campaign with a desert section in the middle of the map that's uncharted and dangerous. yes i'm human irl and in campaign. I chose the base human plus 1 to all stats which is kinda bad but I didn't know and I had a lot of odd stats anyways.

I want to explore reality vs fantasy, Masks vs Authenticity , should i confront reality, but I feel this is sort of a nonfiction topic it's actually quite simple, find some good educational fiction to cope if you suck irl. So the other one is do we ever show our “real” selves, or are all roles and identities performances? That's the main gray area I'm into out of several I've seen. As it stands right now the character is moreso going into Free Will vs Destiny with his quest to cure himself of some unknown illness that he sort of brings on to himself as he doesn't seem to have an illness. Also, a lot of the shit I've said are kind of borderline nonfiction. Machiavellianism for example is pretty much non fiction so I don't think it's gonna be helpful to write this unimportant shit down. But the masks part idk if that's even a real thing. Isn't masks just knowing your what your people need and respond to. Sure I imagine that wearing a mask will eventually at some point break you down probably takes a lot of effort. But there's really no other themes I'm into and wanna connect to the real world's scenes so I wonder if it is pointless for me to even write fiction. Should I as a rational modern man just read my non fiction books and get a job or some supplements. What about my ability to cope in a fantasy world. Should I just listen to music to cope is that even enough. I probably will get tired listening to the same motivational and religious moral, action teaching.

I will have to find some themes.
