I see people say this all the time in reference to fights.

If the person attacks someone weaker they'll be like: "Wow. Look at that asshole attacking someone two times smaller than he is. What a coward. Go pick on someone your own size."

HOWEVER. If the person attacks someone STRONGER they'll also be like: "Fucking idiot. What the hell did he think was gonna happen? Attacking someone two times bigger than him. He deserved that ass beating."

So basically the moral of this story is to attack someone who is similarly as strong as you rather than someone weaker or someone stronger.

But of the two extremes which is worse?

Its hard to say. Im assuming this a full on unprovoked mauling.

If thats the case then hands down stronger. You will likely feel like a badass for a short time before the counter attack. Hopefully he will be lenient lol.

Also being that its a full on attempted mauling the stonger guy might both stop you and stop himself

People find out your messing with weaklings people might set you straight one way or another anyways

Yeah, I agree with pretty much all of this. You basically considered all possible outcomes regardless of which option you choose. So I couldn't have put it better myself.

Now, I'm known (especially around here) as being highly logical and not really doing the "appeal to emotion" thing. While it makes full sense to attack a weaker enemy because your chances of success are higher, I find a distaste for that. Call me emotional all you want, but if you're a bully (only having energy to beat on weaker foes), you're a bitch. I can respect the scrappy smaller opponent who targets a larger one. You may get beaten, but you'll have heart and not be a coward. But bullying? That's not something I can have in my wheelhouse.

If you're caught bullying around me, game over. So that's my answer. If you need to fight, go for those stronger or on the same level. Get in the gym, learn an art. Level up. Also, this extends to weapons. If you only talk big while armed? Bitch. Learn how to fight with the two hands whatever creator you believe in gave you.

That is all.

What???
Why do you want to fight anyway? You only fight to defend yourself.

But bullying? That's not something I can have in my wheelhouse.

Fighting Someone Weaker

Case A: they attack u unprovoked. ur clearly stronger and can choose to restrain them or go ez but u just destroy them (arguable abuse of power)
Case B: you attack them unprovoked. ur clearly stronger and are just bullying them.
Case C: they attack someone else that you have cause to defend (friend, family, etc). ur clearly stronger and can choose to restrain them or go ez but u just destroy them (arguable abuse of power)

Fighting Someone Stronger

Case A2:
they attack u unprovoked. ur clearly weaker but choose to fight anyway without trying to talk it out or run away and get ur ass kicked as a result (naive idiot? brave?)
Case B2: you attack them unprovoked. ur clearly weaker and just get ur ass kicked (literal retard).
Case C2: they attack someone else that you have cause to defend (friend, family, etc). ur clearly weaker and choose to fight them instead of talking it out or running (hero path? hot headed idiot who should have tried to create an opportunity to flee or threaten with cops or something?)

Round 1:

Case A is better than Case A2 (attacking someone stronger is worse) since you have no reason to go ez on an enemy imo but definitely should avoid getting destroyed in Case A2 if possible (don't be ashamed run or call for help)

Round 2:

Case B vs Case B2 is a being a bully vs actual retard case hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.........I'd rather be a retard tbh so I think Case B2 mogs (attacking someone weaker is worse)

Round 3:

Case C and Case C2 are actually very similar but I'll have to pick Case C (attacking someone stronger is worse) since while I think going Elden Ring on someone who attacked a loved one is totally justified,

trying the same when its obvious that you'll get ur ass kicked may seem heroic but it ultimately saves no one. unless u pull enough aggro for the first victim to run.........?

The problem lies on your nervous system, i get no benefit for attacking a manlet for no reason, get dopamine only if a foid is close by.
Attacking someone bigger(not stronger) builds a massive courage and mental boost, literally life changing, confronted a burly 5'10 guy at 16y while being 5'5 and 60kg, never been the same ever since, more confident.
