I always found I had more affinity and connection to the humanoid robots and android characters as portrayed in sci-fi literature and movies. As an example, the synthetic androids in the Aliens movies. Hyper-logical, fast thinking, fast moving, non-emotional, big picture thinkers, somewhat Machiavellian. The contrasting human characters are always acting over-emotional and freaking out, and I can't help but admit they kind of disgust me. Meanwhile, the synthetics are super cool-headed and always have a master plan.
I guess it makes sense given that I'm schizoid. Throw in a sense of humor and an eclectic and eccentric aesthetic sense, and such robots wouldn't be all that different from myself.
