I think some people do and some people don’t. I Think people who are more creative do and others don’t. The ones who can create other universes and implement them into a physical reality or form. The ones who can’t or understand that simply are trapped by there reality and have no free will.

What do you think? Personally I think it doesnt exist because our experiences form our beliefs and we become inspired by what we observe and what we hear, so truly our thoughts and actions are not of our own

The question in the beginning of the video has an easy answer once you take "haecceity" into account, so this is the "vertiginous question" thread. All philosophy about the soul stops there for a moment.

When the man took that drug that caused him to black out, he was not there for the black out. It was not him and he did not have his memories, so it was not "his" fault. If the drug permanently changed him and caused a permanent black out, the previous "him" is simply not there anymore. You could count him effectively dead and sentence the "new guy" to prison for life.

"Haecceity" exposes the hylic nature of the pro-life argument because it reduces the individual to biochemical processes but... this is all beside the point of the video.

Who and what you are determine you and that's impossible without limiting your free will to certain extent. Absolute free will has no desire because those are limits and without desires, there is no will to motivate choices, so it's a paradox. This is the difference between being a point in a 3D spacce and being a thinking animal.

I expect reading from God's Protected Tablet to cause interesting consequences.

That could be the case, it keeps the universe in balance

But creativity is a survival mechanic, designed to evolve the human race, so that could also be a programming of our nature.
