It should be said that the zeitgeist of the forum is not enviable.
Tragic that I am not invested in furthering the atmosphere fostered by active posters such as 'Foidkiller', 'RAPE2026' and 'ULTIMATE SUBHUMAN'. I think I understand now why Tabula Rasa left, because these sites invariably become dominated by the questionably impulsive. The moderation is lax, yes, but as a way to foster open discussion, and yet it has been used to open the floodgates for lowest-denominator content until there is no real discussion. This is basically a group chat for edgelords, especially so as the site lost its entire appeal that it started with by discarding the whitepill. I think I will probably be taking an extended if not indefinite leave.

The whitepill discussion was neither organic nor thought-provoking. If you didn't agree you were being sent to Tabula's whitepill wiki and that was it.
I do enjoy hearing more positive proactive stoic takes and wonder where it went however. Getting rid of a subforum makes no difference so maybe none of us are really stoic in the first place. Recently there was some high effort discussion taking place on abortion but most of us simply don't care or have nothing to say, implying the userbase devolved into monkeys is wrong.
