when we are supposed to be the most connected ever. technology is a scam, Kaczynski was right about this.
most of you are too young to remember but in the 2000s and even early 2010s, technology was at a really good point where it was good enough to entertain us and provide usefulness to our lives without being too overbearing. now it has gotten too "good" so to speak, we are long past the point of no return. i firmly believe technology should have stagnated around 2010 or somewhere around there, a solid place where our lives for the most part were enhanced/better but not to the point where we have a fucking male loneliness epidemic and 1000 other issues that seemingly came out of nowhere in the past 10 years, ok maybe they didn't come out of nowhere because everyone really knew if technology kept advancing like this, there was a very high likelihood of things going haywire which they have.
Most of the new generation was too young and doesn't remember what being an adult was like back then or hell even an older teenager. Those were the days man... those were the fucking days. WE HAD IT SO GOOD MAN, IF ONLY WE KNEW WE WERE IN THE GOOD TIMES BACK THEN. I think even zoomers for the most part can see that life has severely degraded since covid/2020. The past 5-6 years have been a shitshow.
like what the fuck happened man? why did everything shit the bed after covid? the beginning of the end i suppose. I want to go back to the good old days...
I really feel like decreasing time spent using technology will do a lot of good for most young men, mentally and physically. Turn the phone off, limit computer usage every day and i just know things will get better, maybe the world won't get better but you can only control your personal space and yourself. Live a simpler life.
