I like civ 5 but it doesnt have good mods. im a fan i just dont like it in a way that i can describe it like its my favorite game.
for me civ 5 has peak civ aesthetic and its best made game in most ways but if im opening up an archhaic game id want the deepest mods known to humanity. Civ 5s forgotten realms conversion mod feels surface level compared to cavemen to cosmos

I get ya. In many ways I think I like Civ 5 over 6 but Civ 6 added more things that make you feel you had more control on how you play each civ and better mod support. Plus want Washington as American Leader over Lincoln and two different Teddies. (Lucky they're a mod for that. Also a fun Trump one that make him a great Powerhouse in culture and military.)
