Serious How do i unfuck my library returns?

I borrowed a book last week. Someone else put it on hold. Yesterday I returned it. but it was not marked returned. Normally when this happens I just find the book on the shelves and take it to the front, but since its on hold now, I do not know where it is located.

bro, unclench.
once you dropped the book in the slot/counter, your part is literally done. it's the library's job to scan it, find it, or fix the glitch, not yours. you returned it, it's out of your hands. worrying about it now is just extra mental rent you don't owe. I mean this in the most helpful way possible.
