Besides other stuff, I think they know Apophis is going to do something very bad (not necessarily an impact but it's part of the whole thing that has been going on for a decade now). I mean, it makes a lot of sense now, they'll get rid of us (as in the days of Noah on the re-re-reskinned so lovely, so sci-fi and so mythical "fiction" in the Old Testament) and then the golden age starts... for them. Now, there's nothing wrong about death... I think this "universe" is pretty much holographic. So we'll see what happens to our so-called consciousness... after all, we're just hard drives(?) or should I say black boxes.
