This question is really directed a at people that are super young
I would watch movies that are around 20 years older than me and think this is so hard to watch. Movies are so much better now.
sure some movies way older than me were cool but they were few and far between like Clockwork Orange and easy rider

What is it like for you to watch a movie around 20 years older than you?

if you need a sample movie Because you dont usually think of the relrease date of films or you never actually watched an old movie here is the sample i give you.
I present to you total recall

I think a lot of older movies still had soul. All the modern movies and shows considered good don't make you feel any kind of way. Who the hell likes watching Marvel unronically, and the boys is total slop, seriously id you like this it shows a lack of depth in the whole world, everything that is open to the mass always seems to become shit unfortunately, everything is brownifed and shittified. Can't think of any movie made in the last 10 years that actually made me feel any kind of deep emotion.

Great 80s Movie btw.

To be fair most of the classic from the 90s and 80s are better than most of the shit we have today. However, as many people that weren't there in the 90s and 80s don't know. They also had some shitty shows and movies too. The only difference is back then Hollywood wasn't fully woke yet. The problem with most of Western media today is the fact they let HR/DEI take over to the point they can't make good shit due to all the red tape they put in. As well as the only people they're allow to hire is often the black trans they/them that only want to take the classical IP and make it their soapbox by race/sex/etc changing everyone and making the villain a "Sat. Morning cartoon villain who is also Trump." Also got to add the gay prom. (Seriously what's with the fags and putting a gay prom in their show.)

This is why Anime is kicking their ass. Don't get me wrong Anime has always had some greats. However, when Hollywood lower the bar so badly, even the mid-tier anime is seen as a epic compared tourists taking classic IPs and other race changing everyone and making them gay and lame. All while taking the white male hero and other killing him off, replacing him with a queer/woman/poc who better than him in every way, making him a villain and/or never the real hero. We do have some current age GOATs like Frieren, Eminence in Shadow, JJK, as well as some western shows like Yellowstone, Landman, Tusla King, Archer, etc. However, where back in the day you have like 10-20 shows a year and half were good. We get 30 and if you're lucky three of them won't be shit for a season or two but often enough DEI will get in by season 2 or 3. You might get a based show like Tusla King that can keep going but that's rarely. They often have to bend the knee and other make the BLM/anti-white episode as well as add that gay character who they try to push in and ruineds to the show as they add a writer that keeps pushing their politics and gay BS in over telling a story.
