It was pretty fun but I only got up the wall a quarter of the way.

While my support worker got all the way up.

Some other people there also climbed up the wall so rapidly more experience and big muscles I suppose.

Hobbit @Hobbit you should join NDIS it's pretty great I've done rock climbing, bowling , aqua golf and escape rooms so far, plus beach trips.

There's many other community activities you can do.

Asgard @Asgard but it was pretty hard to join using mental illness (psychosocial disability) as the disability diagnosis.

But still a net positive to have this NDIS thing in Australia

I wish I could have NEETbux so I can get a driver's license (and go to a mountain far away from my town) or just afford anything.

Hobbit @Hobbit

You can go concerts, you can attend theatres and you can join art classes or do yoga , and gardening
Skiing , go karting

And once you get a companion card you can do this all free, including free cinema and supported businesses
Based, sounds fun.
I've considered joining NDIS, but honestly I don't even know if they'd accept me. (Schizoaffective bipolar sub-type, C-PTSD, ADHD; those are my known diagnoses.)

I joined using schizophrenia diagnosis (although I had schizoaffective but used schizophrenia for simplicity sake).

And the ndis funding they told me was lower than average, so now I'm trying to use my other diagnosis Asperger's to increase it.

I guess you have to show how the disability affects your daily life and prevents you from participating in the community and social participation

Schizoaffective seems to be a lot more common than most other psychotic illnesses. You're probably the third or fourth person I've ever known to be diagnosed with it - barring myself, of course.
