Arch is one of the more boring distributions out there. I'd say the most boring. I genuinely forget I'm not using Windows, which is ironically and maybe somewhat counter-intuitively the reason I stopped using it - I'm too used to it. It was my first distribution ever (if you don't count testing Ubuntu on a virtual machine.) I installed it using the wiki, without help from scripts, and got a life-long addiction to tweaking.

Really unless you're a high-end user every OS is pretty much the same and you can get software that works good enough no matter what
