Why are these songs so addictive? There's nothing elaborate about them, just that old soulless beat that is inherent to pop. How is this able to hold my attention so much?
You're talking about Park Geun-Hye right? I remember reading something about the occult-oriented religion which she was a follower. Don't know how things turned out in the end for gooks though.because it's been specifically engineered to get stuck in your head, and koreans have figured out how to deploy this engineering in a much stronger way than most western music. there's also a potential - 'spiritual' for lack of a better term - aspect. my reasoning for this is that korea has had a long history of strange occult shit going on. i'm not sure how many of you know this, but many people forgot after it hit mainstream news a few years ago that the south korean government and their leader was actually just a figurehead for an occult-oriented shadow government. (i think it was mostly made up of women.)
i've honestly no clue. i only heard about the occult stuff a few months before the mainstream break on places like 4chan's /x/ (which i no longer browse.) once the news broke and she was removed from office or whatever the story died and nobody brought it up again. You're talking about Park Geun-Hye right? Is this cult still going on? Any place to read more about the topic?
