I am almost 25 years old, I don't have a degree and I am currently unemployed. I'd like to have friends and perhaps one day, maybe I'd like to get a girlfriend but I don't think that'll be possible considering the state of dating scene in 2025 and beyond.

Does anyone have any tips regarding my case? What can I do in order to become a normal functioning member of this society?

Not my cup of tea but you do you, I guess. Hang around normies and participate in collective activities to become more integrated into society.

Hmh... well, the thing is I was never able to relate with most people in general. I don't like music. I don't find sports as enjoyable as most people do, so that is one topic less from the equation, although we can all agree you can pretend to like such topics so people can actually consider you into their own social circles. Social proof is pretty much needed but you still need a baseline to work with, and this is something I clearly lack. As a side note, I'm talking mainly from a teenage perspective since most people during my school years used to discuss about irrelevant topics. People call this "small talk". I had other interests in mind during that time, and so do I these days.

Where do you find people if you are an unemployed and uneducated hikkikomori yourself (as I'm being obviously enabled to remain this way by my own parents)? My average IQ is not enough for a STEM degree, let alone a retail job where being outgoing is more relevant whereas fluid intelligence isn't as important except for basic arithmetic perhaps? (I do struggle with mental calculation, in fact).

We are average looking at best. It's mostly about looks when it comes to one night stands and dating in general.

I don't know what your IQ is, but you don't need an extremely high for STEM. I've seen people start at my uni at age 29. They seem cool, and no one really discriminates against them. I think this could be a good path.

Also, easier fields could be a good option if you're worried about that. People do sometimes start studying kinda of "late."

My IQ pretty much falls within the average range for my country (I live in Western Europe) as measured through a WAIS-IV test I was administred back in my teen years many years before the migration crisis that hit Europe a year after ISIS conquered half of Iraq and Syria (the same migration crisis which has naturally contributed to the slight decline of the median IQ in most European nations through the last decade).

You'd be barely distinguishable from the regular fat normie tbh.
My goal is to either get an Arab or a Southeastern Asian girlfriend/wife as I'm growing distant from European native women (I don't like most girls out here except for average/ugly looking ethnic ones). I pulled girls in my adolescence because I was lean enough despite being a social outcast. Some girls actually approached me in my school.

Should be fine then. But yeah, you really can't emulate the university social structure anywhere else. Only place you really find curious young people, who actually want to make new friends.

Without much social anxiety, should be doable.

What degree should I work towards if I'm not mathematically inclined myself?

I think many fields like chemistry etc, diverge out of the complicated math quite quickly. There's some integral-calculus at the start, but you can study more of the process stuff, where the math is not heavy. But I'm not sure, as I'm in the heavy math fields. But that's the general consensus I've gotten.

Then college is clearly out of the question in my case. I will consider killing myself soon. Thanks for trying to help me out, though.
