I have heard it repeatedly that inkwells have NPD, but honestly I'm a little skeptical of that claim for reasons I'll mention shortly.

I've met people with diagnosed NPD IRL and frankly speaking, they fit far better into the popular kid phenotype than loser phenotype.

They behave that way in almost all aspects, like having a shit ton of friends and romantic options, as very opposed to inkwells.

Plus inkwells lack confidence and people with dark triad traits don't. They have the most charming personality, while inkwells are repulsive(I don't mean to be hostile).

There are seemingly very few possible conclusions:
1) Inkwells are more of covert NPD, while most Ns are overt.
2) Most inkwells just posses such traits but aren't actually NPD.
3) Normies just impose NPD onto people at the bottom of the society.

If the first case is true, I believe it's very important to distinguish the two types of NPD, potentially even seperating them as different disorders. Because it's like comparing someone who is actually full of themselves to someone who is suicidal, and grouping them both into the same box.

You're spending a lot of energy trying to categorize the 'bottom of society' when you could be spending that energy leaving it.
NPD, 'Inkwell,' 'Dark Triad', these are just labels the system uses to keep you busy while they kick your sandcastle. The 'Popular Kids' aren't more human than you; they've just mastered a different set of masks.
If you're feeling 'repulsive' and low confidence, it’s not a clinical disorder, it’s a lack of Utility. You said you like art and used to climb. Go back to that. Pick up the guitar again. Not for the 'community,' but for the Craft. A man who can actually do something well doesn't need a diagnosis, and he doesn't care what a 'normie' thinks of his phenotype.
Stop worrying about whether you're 'covert' or 'overt' and just go be Sovereign. Become the main character of your story.
