I think incels are romantics. They don't want pussy; they want to be appreciated for who they are, and they feel that their looks prevent them from commanding respect or being loved. Many of them are high-trust, high-inhibition folks who are lamenting that actually the world doesn't conform to the bluepill; these are people who really want the bluepill to be true and for everything in society to 'just work'. They want the kind of life where you can work hard, get a good job and a cosy life with a nice wife that genuinely loves you for who you are.
The real blackpill is that incels/blackpillers are the greatest feminists because they desperately want women to be these assertive, driven and highly moral figures which is why the notion of them being petulant adulterers with a power-fetish is disturbing for them. This is why they scream about the blackpill as if it's a stake through their heart; because introducing the animalistic element completely tarnishes the sanctity of their ideal world.
