When I look back and ask myself: “Fuck! Did I really do those stupid things? Sometimes, it seems that we live "turned off", as if we lived without being aware of it.

Perhaps, I feel that when we live in the ego, we live without free will, it is as if instincts and our experiences control our life. So there is no freedom on ego.

The ego drives people to do stupid and evil things. I just watched a video of someone voluntary cutting his fingers off because of his ego.

I'm glad you're learning about Buddhist stuff. The world would be a much better place if everyone was Buddhist

free will isn't real. everything is determined at birth based on genetics and environment. nothing you did is really your fault, despite that, you still hold that burden.

thats an illusion, not freewill.

u are not the same person now that u were in the past. so the reason it seems u dont have freewill is cuz u dont; u dont have freewill over a person other than u

I can't say I know for certain, but this universe is an evil place, so I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't have free will. We might exist just to entertain whatever created reality.
