It was never about ideology

If you look at social or political ideologies which on paper sound perfect and seek to improve our state whether it be Communism, Capitalism, Democracy, Liberalism, or etc etc, they always fail. This is not because the ideologies themselves are unproductive or defective but because of humans inevitably twisting and using them to abuse power and control others.

Systemic oppression in society (poverty, wage slaving, flawed education system, etc) via Capitalism isnt due to Capitalism itself like many claim, but due to those in power having bad faith and abusing their authority to gain power. When the Communists came into power in Russia swearing to uplift the "peasants", they ended up doing the exact same and forming a brutal elite which ruled with an iron fist and oppressed the citizenry. Only a moral revolution where humans shed their toxic egos and traits will help us fix this mess and form a truly utopian society.

It is the moral revolution which causes the abuse of power, as you mentioned about communism. All revolutions are moral in nature, revolutionaries dont do any self-criticism, they are always morally "right".

Revolution was probably the wrong term to use here, but I couldnt think of a more fitting one for the context.

The revolutionaries see themselves as moral and so does the opposition. But funny enough the less ethical side seems to win most times, willingness to engage, unethical people seem to have the will to fight? Perhaps this is why GenZ is unmotivated, so many grew up on the uniformity and a culture that seems to reward it, TikTok, YouTube, all have an algorithim defending morality? Just speculation but many of the people I meet GenZ, millennials, have nothing to believe in? A revolution in our western society seems impossible.

What is your concept of capitalism? Free market? State regulated semi free market?
Free market, individualist.

Capitalism isn't an ideology. It's an objective aspect of reality. Or rather, it is an abstraction of an underlying objective aspect of reality--namely, thermodynamics.
An economic system created by humans, but its not "objective". Human societies operated pre Capitalism.

How can you talk about a system like communism in a vacuum, when economy is just the study of human behaviour? It sounds quite silly to me to propose the idea that economy is detached from human.
