I like to say to any foreigners I meet, "Watch out for drop bears!" Then they ask, "What's a drop bear?" I basically tell them it's a rabid koala that drops from overhead branches and attacks and maims/kills you. They fall for it every time. It's basically an Aussie tradition.

I'm glad that these animals are from Australia and not Africa, because if they were from the latter they would be trafficked on black market.
