So, life is great at the moment.
I've been going to the gym again, am basically dating a new girl (broke up with my old one for any oldfags curious about what happened to my girlfriend), am studying, one of my best friends finally got out of prison and is on bail, and I have generally been feeling ecstatic about what the future holds. Oh, and now I'm staff/part-owner of ElysianFields.
Instead of wanting to die every day, as well as being generally incredibly depressed and angry, it feels like life has improved.
It's like having God reward me for my faith after having a life worthy of Job.
The girl I'm seeing spent 9+ hours with me at my place today, and she immediately wanted to call when she got home (which we did). She has said to me she wants to date but it's too soon to be "official" yet, but she has confessed we're exclusive - which I'm content with. I've only known her a month so I don't want to rush things.
I said to her that she's the Misaki to my Satou (which is true; we've made a contract to stay together and not hurt each other, she's broken me out of my social withdrawal, she's trying to "fix" me despite having problems herself, and she kind of looks like Misaki a little just white, kek).
I don't know if you guys know the "POV relationship" memes where you compare characters to your own relationships, but she made this for me, given she knows how much I love Welcome to the NHK and how important it is to me:
She actually also is planning on watching Welcome to the NHK for me when she renews Crunchyroll. I offered to give her my media server login but she just wants to renew Crunchyroll, kek.
Anyway, I'm rambling at this point. Just high on my good mood after spending the whole afternoon and some of the night with her.
