Stoicism is a life coaching philosophy that divides emotions in bad emotion and good emotion. Its all abitrary.

I prefer follow contemporary cognitive science and do whatever I want and even if my portrayal of stoicism isnt accurate I dont really care because marcus aurelius is too boring and I dont want to be told what to feel by a life coach.

Machiavelli instead, I dont know what to say specific except I understand his language its florentine from the 500 it is known to me. But I can understand them without reading anything, weird isn't it?
Life just teaches what they observed during their lives.
