You can now 'watch' members you like and be alerted whenever they reply to or post a thread.

You can also customise the alert in your account preferences if you would like notifications for posted threads only, for example.

More like actually following the person ig, but you receive notifications when the person you watch posts. Every forum should implement it

No problem, when someone watches a user, they will receive a private alert for themself.
